Dr. Showkat Ali is a faculty of Long Island University. (He is a current President of Bangladesh Journalists and Writers Association of North America inc) Dr. Ali, President of Bangladeshi American for OBAMA Inc., is a prominent Bangladeshi American intellectual. He is an economist, educationist, columnist, and author. He is an effective Bangladeshi community leader, here in New York and a prolific organizer. He published six books on different subjects

His book “Capital flows, Saving and Investment in the World Economy, (ISBN:0-8153-3073-1, New York, London-Japan, 1998) has been accepted as a reference at the University level around the world. He is heavily involved in different Asian social and political organizations. He is a OBAMA intellectual and a long time OBAMA supporter. Dr. Showkat Ali is a direct student of Dr. Muhammad Yunus, a Nobel Peace Prize winner in 2006 and the founder of Worldwide Microfinance.He lives New York with his wife and children.

(Rashidul Bari)
Rashidul Bari is a Bangladeshi born poet, composer, columnist and filmmaker based in the United States. He is an author of 25 books and biographer of Nobel Prize Winner Muhammad Yunus. He regularly writes for many newspapers such as Weekly Holiday, Daily New Nation, The Daily Independent, Weekly Blitz, the Daily Bangladesh Today and Global Politician. Currently he is a graduate student of Brooklyn College of the City University of New York.

(Dr. Muhammad A. Quasem)
Dr. Muhammad A. Quasem teaches at Sanford Brown Institute. He is an author, and a scholar of Bengali Language. In 1980, Mr. Quasem graduated from Chittagong College, one of the noted acdemic institutions in South Asia. He earned MSS in Sociology from Chittagong University in 1989. In 1995, he won the Indian Council for Cultural Relations Scholarship to pursue Ph.D at Rabindra Bharoti University, India.

Upon earning Ph.D from RBU, Dr. Quasem—migrated to United States—to further his education! He earned MS in Computer and Information Science from Brooklyn College. He was a noted talk-show host of Chittagong Bater from 1992 to 1996. His is the autor of many books—including: Ibn Khaldun: The Founder of Sociology and Philosophy of History, Education and Education System:Bangladesh Prospective, Biggan Bicitra: A collection of Selected Talk on the Radio, and Bangladesh: A Land of Beautiful Tradition and Culture.
